Project 365, January 17, 2009
Today was my dad's birthday so we all met in Beavercreek to have dinner at the Olive Garden. Dad turned 70 and is going through the 'I don't care what my hair and beard looks like' stage. He has lived a hard life, made choices most would not agree with, but if I have learned anything it is to take people for who they are. He has a good heart, and he does love me. I know that. It was still kind of awkward, but all in all I am glad we went, and I pray he has many more birthdays we can share.
